Edited to add: all the stuff below I should have said at once to my friends that it upset me. Lesson for next time, because they ARE my friends and we love each other)
When you hear from some of your best friends that:
- The Holocaust was planned by the Mossad (and you answer rationally);
- The Da Vinci Code is pure truth (and you answer rationally);
- Elizabeth the Golden Age is pure truth (and you've already counted a dozen lies or distortions in the first half hour, you forgot which in the movie and which in your friends' commentary);
- when you ask please to change movie because you feel offended, and they put on "Twilight";
- when they tell you for the millionth time in your life (a million different people told you) "Life is a fuckery";
- when you go to bed feeling YOU are the one who's guilty for ruining a good holiday, so you hit yourself with fists and hope to die;
maybe you'd better die.
