Ho appena finito di aprire tutti i pacchi di Amazon arrivati questa settimana mentre non ero a casa. Li ho scaricati sul tappeto del salotto e mi ci sono buttata. Alcuni erano regali che quindi arriveranno in tempo per Natale a chi di dovere, poi ho aperto un grosso pacco indicato "Stampe" e ne ho estratto March Past: A Memoir by Lord Lovat. Mezz'ora dopo mi sono resa conto che ero ancora in ginocchio sul tappeto a leggere. Le mie ginocchia non erano entusiaste. Mi sono trasferita al tavolo e ho continuato a leggere. Beh, sparatemi. Che posso farci? Quando mi sono ripresa ho notato che c'era un pacco non ancora aperto. Conteneva una custodia per la mia macchina fotografica che avevo ordinato su Amazon perché non la trovavo altrove. E' perfetta. Potrebbe essere meglio, perché non si può appenderla alla cinghia della macchina (ma ci lavorerò), ma è più sicura del sacchetto di stoffa che usavo prima, ed è così carina! | Just finished opening all the Amazon parcels I got over this week while I wasn't at home. I poured them on the living room carpet and started on them. Some were presents that will therefore reach their targets in time for Christmas, then I opened a large "Printed Matter" parcel and took out March Past: A Memoir by Lord Lovat. Half an hour later I realized I was still kneeling on the carpet, reading. My knees were not thrilled. I moved to my table and went on reading. So shoot me. What can I do about it? When I snapped out of it I realized there was a parcel still unopened. It contained a case for my camera that I had ordered on Amazon because I could not find it anywhere else. It fits perfectly. It could be better, because you can't dangle it from the camera strap (but I'll work on it), but it's safer than the cloth pouch I'd used till then, and it's pretty! |
