(Qualche giorno fa c'era quello del "viaggio che comincia con un solo passo") Supponendo che il widget sia filologicamente affidabile. Ho i testi, ma non li ho ancora letti. Comunque si direbbe che ci sia un pugno di persone o libri che hanno detto tutto. La Bibbia, Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Dante. Adesso devo aggiungere K'ung Fu Tzu. Tanti dei nostri modi di dire vengono da questi autori, anche se non lo sappiamo. A proposito, sto provando ANCORA qualche widget della Bibbia... perché fanno tutti così schifo? Capitano passi totalmente a caso, così mi becco roba tipo "E il Signore disse a Mosé, prendi gli. Esodo bla bla." O scelgono i passaggi più inutili e deprimenti, tipo "Tu ti laverai dietro le orecchie" o "L'uomo è un inutile pezzo di sterco di cammello"? La Bibbia è piena di passaggi meravigliosi, ma non ho ancora beccato un "Beati i miti", "E Dio era nella brezza lieve" o tutte quelle parole che mi fanno amare la mia religione. OK, questo è ASSURDO. Ho controllato "Confucius" su Wikipedia per essere sicura di scrivere giusto il suo nome. I must add K'ung Fu Tzu now. A lot of our everyday sayings come from this handful of works, even whe we don't know it. By the way, I'm trying AGAIN with some Bible widget... why must they suck so much? Do they pick passages totally at random, so we get stuff like "And the Lord said unto Moses, thou shalt take the. Exodus blah blah." Or do they pick the most useless or depressive passages, such as "Thou shalt wash behind thine ears" or "Man is a worthless piece of camel dung"? The Bible is full of wonderful passages, but I haven't yet come across a "Blessed are the meek", "And God was in the gentle breeze" or all the words that make me love my religion. OK, this is WEIRD. I checked "Confucius" on Wikipedia to be sure that I was spelling his name right.
