In effetti, forse i font del mio blog vanno benissimo e il problema è la risoluzione del mio schermo. Ieri notte ho trafficato con QUALCOSA. A tal punto sono stanca: non ricordo cosa, quindi non posso annullarlo. C'entrava con l'accesso facilitato. Cercavo di convincere Bee (che è anche il mio computer) a parlarmi. Comunque, se ho cambiato qualche impostazione e non riesco a trovare un modo ovvio per annullarla, vuol dire che Windows Vista non è poi così accessibile. Dall'altro lato della medaglia, anche se non è un tablet PC, il mio Bee ha un sacco di programmi relativi a quella funzione, anche se non sono in evidenza. Per esempio, se frugate nella cartella C:/Windows/System32 (non so mai da che parte va la barra), trovate un simpatico .exe chiamato StikiNot che vi permette di scrivere PostIt virtuali con molto meno casino di programmi simili che avevo trovato in rete. Non credo di averlo visto nel menù Start, ma potrei sbagliarmi. Il solo problema è che si può scrivere solo a mano, con la touchpad (o la tavoletta), ma mi sto abituando. Mi sono messa già un cartellino sul desktop con le cose che devo fare per il matrimonio di sabato. (UPDATE: sì, c'è, è in Start-Programmi-Accessori-Tablet PC. Chiamatemi Sherlock...) Infine un grosso NO: non scaricate nulla che si chiama Babylon. Dovrebbe essere un programma di traduzione, ma senza autorizzazione vi cambia la toolbar del browser (almeno in Firefox) e anche dopo che l'avete disinstallato dovete cancellare tutte le cartelle che contengono file relativi a "conduit" per far tornare normale la toolbar (ed eliminare la pestifera cosa dai componenti aggiuntivi di Firefox). | In fact it might be that my blog's fonts are fine and the problem is my screen resolution. Last night I fiddled with SOMETHING. That's how tired I am: I don't remember what, so I can't undo it. It had to do with easy accessibility. I was trying to have Bee (who is also my computer) talk to me. Anyway, if I changed some setting and I can't see an obvious way to undo the change, it means Windows Vista is not so accessible after all. On the other hand, though it's not a tablet PC, my Bee has a lot of programs that relate to that function, just not in evidence. For example, if you rummage in the C:/Windows/System32 dir (can't ever remember which direction the slash goes), you find a nifty .exe called StikiNot that allows you to write virtual PostIts with much less fuss than similar programs I had found on the net. I don't think I've seen it in the Start menu, though I might be wrong. The only problem is you can only write by hand, with the touchpad or tablet, but I'm getting used to it. I have a sticky on my desktop with the stuff I need to do for the wedding on Saturday. (UPDATE: yes, it's there, it's in Start-Programs-Accessories-Tablet PC. Call me Sherlock...) Finally a big DON'T: don't download anything called Babylon from the net. It's supposed to be a translation software, but it changes your browser's toolbar without authorization (at least in Firefox) and even after you've uninstalled it you have to delete all the directories with "conduit" stuff in it so the toolbar gets back to normal (and the pesky thing disappears from your Firefox add-ons). |
