Devo decidere come nascono i TF, a parte divertirsi con le scintille e il senso del tatto appena scoperto. Devo togliere una frase da DLM1, in cui si dice che il primo esperimento di Ratchet ha le dimensioni di "uno dei loro piccoli". Forse un nuovo Transformer viene costruito in forma adulta e poi gli viene infusa la scintilla. Non che adesso mi serva, ma non voglio scrivere roba che dopo diventerebbe una contraddizione. Inoltre dovrei lasciar fuori Firestar o Arcee. Da come "Due vite un incubo" si sta sviluppando, Arcee non serve assolutamente alla trama. La spiegazione di Optimus riguardo alle DUE Fembots arrivate da Cybertron non ha senso, come lui stesso scopre in 2V1I, quindi perché non limitarsi a UNA Fembot dall'inizio? Ma quale? Arcee è più famosa, essendo apparsa in più serie, ma Firestar mi dà una sensazione migliore. Sarà il nome. Inoltre Arcee è piuttosto piccola (doveva trasformarsi in motocicletta in TF2007) e un'abile tiratrice piuttosto che una lottatrice, mentre la "mia" Firestar è alta e forte, e deve volare. Ho fatto altri cambiamenti, quindi dare queste abilità ad Arcee non dovrebbe essere grave, ma il problema è come le vedo nella mia mente. L'episodio di TF:A "Thrill of the Hunt" potrebbe spingermi a tenere Arcee... ma credo che terrò Firestar e risparmierò Arcee per un ruolo migliore. Ho quasi finito di guardare la prima stagione di G1. E' piuttosto NOIOSA, a parte Optimus (che è spesso noioso, ma è noia rassicurante) e alcuni dei personaggi meglio definiti. Ci sono scene divertenti, ma quando cominciano con le battaglie e gli Insepticons e i Constructicons e simili mi vien da sbattere la testa contro il muro. Ma vale la pena di guardarlo per imparare, e per sbarazzarsi di qualche pregiudizio. Così Optimus è questo severo monolito di eroismo e virtù? Beh, in Ep 14 (16:22) sghignazza a tal punto che riesce a malapena a pronunciare la frase successiva per le risa. TF:A è uno sballo. Buoni testi, buona caratterizzazione, buone gag visive. Il doppiatore di Optimus (David Kaye) è molto versatile: interpreta il giovane leader insicuro, ma a volte la sua voce risuona come un tuono in stile Cullen. I tried correcting the accents and as a result lost all the capital E's. Blast. I need to decide how TF make babies, beside having fun with the sparks and the newly-discovered sense of touch. I must delete a sentence from BTM1, where Ratchet's first experiment is described as small as one of their "little ones". Maybe a new Transformer is built in adult form and then infused with the spark. I don't really need it now but I don't want to write stuff that would be a contradiction later. Also I should leave out either Firestar or Arcee. From the way things are developing in "Two lives one nightmare", Arcee does absolutely nothing to forward the plot. Optimus' explanation for the reason why TWO Fembots came from Cybertron makes no sense, as he himself will discover in 2L1N, so why not make it ONE Fembot from the start? But which one? Arcee is more famous, having appeared in more series, but Firestar gives me a better vibe. Must be the name. Also, Arcee is smallish (she was supposed to turn into a motorcycle in TF2007) and a skilled marksman more than a brawler, while "my" Firestar is tall and strong, and she needs to fly. I've already made changes, so giving these abilities to Arcee shouldn't be a big deal, but the problem is how I see them in my mind. The TF:A ep "Thrill of the Hunt" might justify keeping Arcee... but I think I'll keep Firestar and save Arcee for a better role. I'm almost through with G1 Season 1. It's pretty BORING, apart from Optimus (who is often boring, but it's reassuring boredom) and a few of the better-rounded characters. There are some funny moments, but when they start with battles and Insepticons and Constructicons and all that stuff I could bang my head against the wall. However it's worth watching for knowledge, and for getting rid of a few prejudices. So Optimus is this stern monolith of heroism and virtue? Well, in Ep 14 (16:22) he laughs so much he barely can speak the next sentence for giggling. TF:A is a riot. Good writing, good characterization, good visual gags. The Optimus voice actor (David Kaye) has a great range: he plays the young, uncertain leader, but sometimes his voice drops to Cullenish thunder. Only wish Opti and Ratch were more handsome, and Bulkhead were Ironhide. |
