"I DELITTI DEL MOSAICO", AND SHADOWS

A proposito della "gente morta", e un libro molto interessante che ho letto. I delitti del mosaico di Giulio Leoni. Se vi piace Dante Alighieri, come a me, questo libro fa per voi. Se lo avete odiato al liceo, questo libro potrebbe farvi cambiare idea! In breve: Dante indaga su un omicidio. A un certo punto, "parla" nella sua mente (o ha davvero strane esperienze extrasensoriali?...) con la sua guida ideale, il poeta Virgilio. Poi si rimprovera, chiedendosi perché sia così attaccato ai morti. La risposta di Virgilio è bellissima, e spiega parecchio di ciò che ho detto nell'altro post:

I morti non gettano ombra.

More about the "dead people" thing, and a very interesting book that I've read. The Mosaic Murders by Giulio Leoni (link in Italian). If you like Dante Alighieri, as I do, this is the book for you. If you hated him in high school, this book could change your mind! In brief: Dante investigates a murder. At one point, he "talks" in his mind (or does he actually have some weird extrasensory experience?...) with his ideal mentor, the poet Virgil. Then he rebukes himself, wondering how can he be so attached to dead people. Virgil's answer is beautiful, and it explains a lot of what I wrote below:
