PANDORUM Titolo idiota, idea decente. Dennis Quaid nei panni del Capitano Achab. Mi ha convinto al punto che ho riso quando il tizio barbonico compare sul ponte (?), salvo poi che viene immediatamente massacrato. Il tema dei "mostri" poteva essere spiegato meglio. Apprezzabile. WORLD TRADE CENTER L'ho guardato il giorno che ho deciso di tornare a viaggiare in aereo, perché mi piace farmi male. Oliver Stone è bravo e lo sapevo. Film vasto e a tratti sconnesso (alcune parti sono state tagliate su richiesta dei parenti delle vittime), ambientato per lo più sotto le macerie, ma apolitico e fatto con stile. Fantastici i finti Marines. Non mi è piaciuta Maggie G, mi spiace ma suo fratello recita meglio. 7 KM DA GERUSALEMME L'ho guardato per prepararmi al viaggio in Terrasanta. In effetti è sopra la media. Non tutti i film italiani sono volgari, semplicistici, politicizzati. La versione maschile di "Dio su una Harley"; stessa profondità ("Ciao, sono Gesù") ma splendidi panorami. NATIONAL TREASURE 2 - LE PAGINE PERDUTE Apprezzabile. Un altro fratello minore di Indiana Jones. Mi piacciono tutti i film che riguardano la storia e i presidenti degli USA. L'ULTIMA STAZIONE Chris Plummer (grande vecchio) ha perso l'Academy Award in favore di Chris Waltz (grande giovane). Impossibile paragonarli. Film grande e minimalistico, buoni sentimenti, Mirren sembra davvero una regina, McAvoy è dolce e sexy, anche il romanzo non è male. Fooled me to the point that I laughed when the bedraggled guy appears on the bridge (?) only for him to get slaughtered. The theme of the "monsters" could have been explained better. Enjoyable. WORLD TRADE CENTER Watched it the day I decided I'd start flying again, because I like to hurt myself. Oliver Stone is good, I knew that. A sprawling, sometimes disconnected movie (some parts wre cut because of complaints from the victims' families), taking place mostly underground, but apolitical and stylish. Loved the fake Marines. Maggie G, meh, sorry but her brother is a better actor. 7 KMs FROM JERUSALEM Watched it to prepare for Holy Land trip. Above average. Not all Italian movies are vulgar, simplistic and politicized. Male counterpart of "God on a Harley", same depth ("Hi, I'm Jesus"), but great landscapes. NATIONAL TREASURE 2 - BOOK OF SECRETS Enjoyable. Another one of Indiana Jones' little brothers. Love anything concerned with history and USA presidents. THE LAST STATION Chris Plummer (old and great) lost the Academy Award to Chris Waltz (young and great). Impossible to compare them. Great minimalistic movie, good feelings, Mirren really looks like a queen, McAvoy sweet and hot, novel is not bad either. See you next year, Chris P., winning for "Beginners". |
