GERANIUMS

Tutte le mie piante in vaso sul balcone sono morte durante l'inverno, quindi le sto lentamente sostituendo. Ho appena comprato 4 gerani di colore e tipo diverso, ma me li sono guadagnati a caro prezzo! Il cassiere, peraltro gentilissimo, ha impiegato 10 minuti a cercare di capire COSA erano ("ehm,gerani?", suggerivo timidamente io), CHE TIPO di gerani ("ehm, quelli pelosi e quelli lisci?") e QUANTO costavano, dato che il cartellino del prezzo diceva "COLOMBA PASQUALE".

Oggi si fa giardinaggio, yay!

All my potted plants on the balcony died during the winter, so I'm slowly replacing them. I've just bought four geraniums of different colour and kind, but I've earned them the hard way! The othervise kind cashier spent ten minutes trying to understand WHAT they were ("er,geranium?", I timidly suggested), WHAT KIND of geranium ("er, the fuzzy ones and the smooth ones?") and HOW MUCH they costed, since the price tag said "EASTER DOVE".

Today is garden time, yay!
