E CHI SE NE FREGA

Lunga storia: partiamo dalla filologia. Dopo sarà più chiaro.

Mi piacciono i Metallica. Adoro Nothing Else Matters. Poi ho scoperto che Marco Masini ne ha fatto una cover chiamata "E chi se ne frega". Masini è uno dei cantanti che porta più sfiga nell'universo, ma mi piace la sua Perché lo fai sulla ragazza che si droga. Così ho cercato "E chi se ne frega" perché il titolo, molto più arrabbiato di quello dei Metallica, faceva pensare a una bella canzone incacchiata da urlare quando sono furiosa.

Delusione. E' un cavolo di canzone d'amore.

Non ho mai considerato "Nothing Else Matters" una canzone d'amore. Sì, può essere, ma l'ho usata per due amici maschi nella mia colonna sonora di Black Legacy, ovvero Harry Potter e Brian Black. Quindi ho accantonato la versione di Masini, ma poi mi è tornata in mente. Guardo questo mondo che amo tanto, questa umanità che cerco di amare, buoni e cattivi, ma certe volte, cavolo, certe volte viene proprio fuori, e adesso ha una musica.

E CHI SE NE FREGA!!!!!

Seguiranno esempi. Per ora vi lascio con il testo originale di "Nothing Else Matters".

Long story: I'll start with the philology. It will be clearer later.

I like Metallica. I love Nothing Else Matters. Then I discovered that Marco Masini did a cover called "E chi se ne frega" ("And who gives a damn"). Masini is one of the wettest blankets in the whole universe, but I love his "Perché lo fai" ("Why do you do it") about the girl who does drugs. So I looked up "E chi se ne frega" because the title, much angrier than Metallica's, hinted at a good rage song to yell when I'm furious.

Disappointment. It's a damn love song.

I'd never considered "Nothing Else Matters" a love song. Yes, it could be, but I used it for two male friends in my Black Legacy soundtrack, namely Harry Potter and Brian Black. So I put the Masini version away, but then it came back to me. I look around at this world I love so much, at this humanity I try to love, good and bad, but sometimes, damn, sometimes it just comes out, and now it has a music.

AND WHO GIVES A DAMN!!!!!
