DISCOVERY IS HOME

(Ci si può chiedere perché riesco a guardare l'atterraggio dello Shuttle in diretta e non riesco a guardare un Gran Premio. E' perché nel primo caso ho un commentatore dalla voce tranquilla che legge dati, nel secondo ho un pazzo urlante che mi fa venir voglia di arrampicarmi su per i muri. A meno che non sia cambiato di recente.) Comunque... è tornata a casa. Il commentatore di NASA TV ha detto esattamente le parole del titolo al momento dell'atterraggio e io ho cacciato un urlo. Si può dire quello che si vuole sul progetto spaziale. Ma sulla storia delle donne, su come certe cose migliorano, solo due parole: Eileen Collins.

(One could wonder why I can watch the Shuttle landing live and can't watch a Grand Prix race. It's because in the first case I have a smooth-voiced commentator reading data, in the second I have a yelling madman making me want to run up the wall. Unless it's changed lately.) Anyway... she's home. The NASA TV commentator said exactly the words of the title at touchdown, and I yelled aloud. You can say what you want about the space program.
