Aelfwine, pronunciato Alvuin, or Alvuine (tesi diverse), è un personaggio del mio romanzo "Il Drago e il Re" (vedi link sulla sinistra) che incidentalmente è una delle ragioni per cui sono indietro con altre storie, perché vuole essere scritto. Aelfwine è un Sassone sensibile interpretato da David Thewlis, abbigliato in lunghe vesti e rasato, e quindi praticamente indistinguibile da Lupin, a parte che non si trasforma, anche se può diventare molto arrabbiato. Ha trovato casa in Ancient Worlds ed è diventato il mio più recente alter ego, non un interesse sentimentale, un alter ego maschio così c'è maggior distanza. Come Tolkien (perdonatemi il paragone) ho sentito il bisogno di buttarmi nel Medioevo per riposare la mente con massacri abbastanza lontani da essere relativamente privi di ansia. Scrive il suo diario anche lui e a volte, dato che è un po' shoccato per essere insieme l'invasore e l'invaso su in Britannia, si fa psicanalizzare da Wyrd, il Fato in persona, il che è utile anche se un po' traumatico. | Aelfwine (pronounced Al-ween, or Al-ween-uh, opinions vary) is a character of my novel, "The Dragon And The King" (see link on the left), which incidentally is one of the reasons why I'm behind with other stories, because it wants to be written. He found his home in Ancient Worlds and ended up being my latest alter-ego, not a love interest, a male alter-ego to put some distance. Like Tolkien (forgive me the parallel) I felt the need to plunge back into Medieval times to rest my mind with massacres that are distant enough to be relatively anxiety-free. He writes his own diary and sometimes, since he's a bit shocked for being at once the invader and the invaded up there in Britannia, he gets therapy from Wyrd, Fate herself, which is helpful if a bit traumatic. |
